Betty Lou Fox

Betty Lou Fox, 72, of Asheville, died Monday, February 26, 2018 at the Laurels of Summit Ridge. She was the daughter of the late Gwen Ambroe Long and Iona Pennington Long Rose. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wade A. Fox. Mrs. Fox was an active member of Beverly Hills Baptist Church. Surviving are her two sisters, Diane Hanna, of Airville, PA, and Pat Colletta, of Whiteford, MD; sisters-in-law, Hazel Shuler, Essie Woodard and Jeanette Bond; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 2, 2018, at Beverly Hills Baptist Church with Dr. Billy King officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery at Lovefield Baptist Church in Sylva. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Rd. is assisting the family with arrangements.
