Betty Louise Dockery Meadows, 66, of Asheville, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Mission Hospital.

A native of Buncombe Co., Betty was a daughter of Dortha Dot Stuart Dockery and of the late Joel Clifford Dockery.

In addition to her mother, Betty is survived by her husband, Tommy Meadows; son, Stephen Meadows; sisters, Patsy Smith, Trina Smith (Luke), Brenda Warren (Roger) and Donna Warren (Jeff); and brothers, Joel Dockery (Alice), Michael Dockery and Roger Dockery.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with the Rev. Terry Green officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
