Betty Marie Brown Jenkins, 67, of 11 Indian Camp Road, Weaverville, died Sunday, January 20, 2002, in an Asheville hospital.

Mrs. Jenkins was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late George Homer and Annie Mae McGalliard Brown. She was married to Thurman Arville Jenkins, who died in July, 2000.

She is survived by four sons, Dale Jenkins, Aaron Jenkins, and Mike Jenkins of Weaverville and Mark Woodby of Fairview; two sisters, Florence Pilcher and Ruby Denny, and four grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 3:00 pm Thursday at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory with the Rev. Tarold Stanton officiating.

Her family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Wednesday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
