Betty Puett Randall, of Asheville, died on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at her residence.
A native of Burke Co., Betty was a daughter of the late Gilbert V. and Wavie Arney Puett. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rex D. Randall; sisters, Margaret Baker and Myrtle Hood; and brothers, William and Edward Puett.
Mrs. Randall retired as an employment manager from Southern Bell, where she began working in 1950.
She is survived by her sister, Charlotte Rector, and brother, Harold Puett.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family.

My thoughts and prayers to the family. It was a pleasure getting to be one of Betty’s care givers for the past few years. She always kept her sense of humor even on her hardest days. I will truly miss her. She treated us girls just like family.
I am so sorry to read this news. I remember many good times with Aunt Betty and was saddened as illness made things so difficult for her. I am thankful for aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and caregivers who made her comfortable in her final years.
My sympathy to all families and friends.
