  14. Dear David,Debbie and extended family,
I was saddened to hear of the loss of your mother. She was a wonderful neighbor as was your father. I have such fond childhood memories of roasting hotdogs, playing tag and looking at all the beautiful bushes at your parents home. Cam and Betty always let all the neighborhood kids play in their yard and Cam would get us black cat fircrackers or help fix our bikes. They were both so much fun. Thanks for the memories. Our hearts and prayers are with each of you. When visiting my own mother at Pinewood Pl, I will always remember them and smile. God Bless each of you thru this difficult time. Much love and healing.

The emotions I feel for the loss of Aunt Betty cannot compare to yours as son, daughter and grandchildren but my heart aches at her passing.
I met Aunt Betty when I was about Madison’s age. The memories I have of summers in Asheville visiting with her as a child are still with me today-the time we spent together made a strong impression. I know her life impacted so many people in a positive way; you are all lucky to have had her in your lives.
Keep the memories in your hearts and know my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
    Fondly,

  30. David & Debbie
Boy does time fly! It seems like just yesterday we were spending our summer vacations with you,Uncle Stokes and Aunt Betty. Playing ball, riding homemade go- carts, fussing, trips to get Biltmore ice cream and catching field rats in rabbit boxes at Daddy George’s are just a few of the Asheville memories I have cherished over the years. I feel extremely blessed Aunt Betty was part of my life. A kind and sweet lady who was always smiling and never had a discouraging word to say about anyone or anything. I know your heart is heavy but the Lord has given us the promise we’ll all be together again soon, and that’s something we can hang on to during these difficult times. May the Lord Bless you and your family and may He give you peace.
    We love you,
    Larry & Debbie
