Arden - Carolyn Elizabeth “Betty” Wilson, 65, of 342 Avery’s Creek Road, died Sunday, July 1, 2001 in a local solace center.
A native of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sam Wilson and was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Wilson.
She was a member of the Christian Life World Outreach and a retired employee of American Enka.
She is survived by a son, Michael D. Wilson of Arden; a niece, Tammy and a nephew, Robbie.
Graveside services will be held at 11 am Tuesday at Avery’s Creek Christian Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Boyd McClaren and Pastor Michael Angel.
Her family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 pm Monday at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian.
