Bettye Jo Lovette, 86, of Asheville, passed peacefully on Monday, February 13, 2017 at the Laurels of Summitt Ridge.
Born in Wilkes County to the late John and Grace Hayes Lovette, she worked as an RN with the VA Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Gilbert Eller.
Survivors include two sons, Daniel Eller of Asheville and Greg Eller (Audra) of Memphis, TN; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one brother, Bobby Lovette of Asheville.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Road.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Dr., Suite 900, Arlington, VA, 22202.
