If you loved adventure, you know what a joy it was to have known Uncle Billy. Through the ups and downs in his life’s journey, he always tried to be honest and make the most of it. I am blessed to have had an uncle so unique as him. Much love and prayers for you each, Tom, Wendy, Lisa, Greg, Daniel, Tim, may you at times hear the corrective advice of your dad somewhere in your hearts, but at ALL times know he loved you each with an everlasting love.

It was so good to see Billy at Troy and Valerie’s 70th anniversary party last year. It had been such a long time and we were so glad you brought him. I am from Glen Alpine North Caroline, 4 miles from Lake James. As a teenager growing up, I worked at Lakeside Café on Lake James. Bill’s Mother and family had a cabin by the lake in which they would stay in on the weekend. I would always look forward to seeing Billy on ( he went by the name Billy back then ) the weekends. Bill was very windy back then. He could take something that wasn’t funny at all, and make you crack your sides laughing.
I am sure that he has the Angels in Heaven laughing at this time.
May you rest in peace my friend Bill Brigham .
thoughts and prayers are with the family
This is Seth and Amy Silver from up the road….we are so very sorry for your loss. You all will be in our prayers and if you need anything, we are here.
May u be at peace now Uncle Billy. So sorry to hear this. To all my cousins, u are in my heart and prayers. I’m so sorry u have suffered such a lose.
Bill was a great man, a good man, full of life and wisdom; a great deal of which he had gained from personal experience and adventure. He always had a smile and word for anyone he met. My life was blessed to have known him and he will be missed by many. Now Bill is at rest, with a new body, no more sickness, no suffering, no pain. I pray God will wrap his comforting arms around you all during this mournful time and in the difficult days ahead. Casting all your cares on Him who cares for you. Rest in Peace Bill. Enjoy adventures in Heaven now
Leah
Dad,
We’ve had our ups and downs. I’m glad we worked things out in the end. I poured my heart and soul into your urn, so even though I’ll be in Germany when your memorial service happens, I’ll be there in spirit for the service and then well after that. Everyone you met when you came to Germany sends their best wishes. All of our German friends and family have helped me to remember you and celebrate your life. Having you in my life (when you were around) was always good. You made me laugh and always brought my spirits up. I do not look at this as a loss, your spirit is out there somewhere at peace. I will always carry you on in my memories. — Your Son —
You’re going to lose people in your life and realise that no matter how much time you spent with them or how often you told them you appreciated them, it will never seem like it was enough.’?
You’re gone but not forgottenÂ
You’ve left but you’re still here
In spirit and in thought
In our memories and our hearts
You live on
Your love, your kindness, your courage
How could we forget?
We, who were your world
We, who cherished you most
Gone, but not forgotten
And you never will be.
John 14:1-31
Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.’? Thomas said to him, ‘Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?’? …
now your soul is at rest your with Christ in that room he prepare for you, having a party and playing the guitar with the angels. you will be missed. rest in peace to meet again
