William E. “Bill” Hamlin, 65, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022.
An Asheville native, Bill was a son of the late Floyd Glen and Vada Frances Fender Hamlin. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Margaret Frizzell, Ruth Christopher, Iva McKinney, David, Jerry, James, Aaron, and Dennis Hamlin, and an infant brother.
Bill is survived by his sister, Faye Hamlin; brothers, F. Glen Hamlin, Jr., and Eddie Hamlin; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
His family will be holding a memorial service for Bill on Saturday, June 25, at 3:00 p.m. at Reeves Chapel, 225 Sardis Rd., Asheville, NC, 28806.
