Alfred William "Bill'' Lussier, 67, of Asheville, died on Sunday, March 24, 2013, at the St. Joseph campus of Mission Hospitals.
Mr. Lussier was a native of Schenectady, NY, and grew up in Scotia, NY. He was a son of the late Alfred Joseph and Mary Grace Bell Lussier.
Mr. Lussier was a former member of the Association of Christian Therapists, and is a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Sheri Stratford Lussier; sons, Adan R. Martinez and wife Marni, and Jetro Martinez and wife Kelly; sister, Cynthia Condon and husband Larry; brother, David Lussier and wife Brenda; five grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church on Wednesday evening at 6:00 P.M. with Fr. Frank Seabo officiating.
His family wishes to give special thanks to the staff of Becky's Rest Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christian Healing Ministries, P.O. Box 9520, Jacksonville, FL 32208.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting Mr. Lussier's family.

We were so sorry to hear bout Bill’s passing. We met him through is work with St. Vincent de Paul and we always found him to be a warm, gentle man of constant kindness and good cheer. Our condolences at this sad time.
