  1. I only knew Bill from seeing him at the lake every now and then but I will miss not having that opportunity of that happening again. He always was so nice and always had a smile when we spoke. He will be missed. May god bless the whole fsmily.

  2. Heaven gained a great man on May 19, 2012 when Bill entered to be with his parents and all of his siblings. Now they are having a true reunion that was probably arranged by Jesus and Aunt Bea. RIP Bill

  3. Heaven gained a great man when Bill entered on May 19 and joined his parents and all his siblings. I am sure they are all having a great reunion now that he is there. Aunt Bea probably had a big party planned for his arrival. RIP Bill

  6. I have fond memories of fishing at Spivey’s when I was a kid in the late 50s. My deepest sympathy to the Spivey family.

  7. Papaw was such a character 🙂 He was silly & funny. I admired his passion for his craft & hobbies.
I loved hearing his stories about the past, how he met Grandmother & stories about his adventures with his brothers.
He had a special place in his heart for his girls – his sister, daughters, granddaughter & Great-granddaughter. He would Light up when they came to visit. He was a real softy though he tried to hide it. He would’ve chosen to hold his great granddaughter over shoot guns Any day 🙂

I’m so blessed to have known him the short 4 years i have.
I’m so happy though that he lived such a full life and now gets to be with his family he’s missed for so long. The reunion must have been amazing 🙂
He is greatly missed – He will be remembered.
    Love you Papaw <3
-Grant, Lauren, Hendrix & little Peanut
