Blanche Conner Chatham, 85, of Candler, died Saturday, Nov.
28, 1998 in the Western Free Will Baptist Rest Home in
Candler.
A native of Dahlonega, GA, she was wife of the late R. Frank
Chatham, who died in 1972. She was also preceded in death by
a brother, Raymond Conner.
Mrs. Chatham was a member of the Skyland Baptist Church
and will be missed by her family and many friends.
She is survived by a sister, Noamia Bradley of Arden; two
brothers, Vernon Conner of Skyland and Leon Conner of
Candler and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2 pm Tuesday in the Chapel of Groce Funeral
Home on Patton Avenue conducted by the Rev. D.K. Brevard.
Interment will be in New Salem Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 pm Monday at the
funeral home and at other times will be at the home of Vernon
Conner, 188 Pinner Road, Arden.
