Blanche Warriner Owenby, 68, of 113 Hemphill Rd., Asheville, died Tuesday, May 23, 2000 in a local
hospital.
A native of Richmond, VA, she was a daughter of the late W. Leonard and Jean Williams Warriner. She was a member of Arbor Baptist Church in
Amelia, VA.
Survivors include her husband, Lloyd C. Owenby; a daughter, Dorothy Ann Robertson of Williamsburg, VA; sisters, Jesse Key of Morrisville, VA,
Virginia Parker of Remington, VA; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Patton Avenue Chapel of Groce Funeral Home. Revs. Ray Woodby and G.A. McCurry will officiate with burial following in Gashes Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends 7-8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Blanche and Lloyd have lived across the street from us for 5 years. We have enjoyed many afternoons on their porch chatting and laughing. Her laughter and good heart will be missed by many. We are thankful to have known her.
