Bobbie L. Rogers

Mrs. Rogers was born in Haywood County and was a daughter of the late James William and Elisa Bailey Lindsey. She was also preceded in death by a son, William Cortez Westall and by a granddaughter, Tina Ann Carter. She was a former employee of Biltmore Press and was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, James D. Rogers; one son, Edgar Dale Westall of Candler; one step-son, Randall E. Rogers of Candler; two sisters, Geneva Shelton of Asheville and Jewell Driggers of Loganville, GA; one brother, Lowell Lindsey of Lenoir; eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Tuesday at Pisgah United Methodist Church with the Rev. H.D. Houck officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 - 9 pm Monday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue where Mrs. Rogers will remain until being placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
