Bobbie Sue Hipps

Bobbie Sue Revis Hipps, 81, of Asheville, died Friday, March 4, 2016, at the CarePartners Solace Center. A native of Buncombe Co., she was a daughter of the late Lyda and Josie Hudson Revis. She was also preceded in death by siblings Mabel West, Lucille McElrath, E.C. Revis, Conley Revis, and Blanche Israel. Mrs. Hipps worked for Kress, Woolworth, KMart, and more recently worked as a caregiver for the sick and elderly in their homes. Surviving are her husband, Billy Hipps; sisters, Betty Emory and Marjorie Knapp; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Hipps will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday in the Patton Ave. chapel of Groce Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service. Interment will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday at Pisgah View Memorial Park.
