Bobby Eugene Ingle, 75, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 16, 2012, at his home. Mr. Ingle was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a member and song leader at Aaron Baptist Church of Asheville, and also served as a Deacon at Oak Grove Baptist Church from 1992 to 1994. He retired from the City of Asheville Fire Department after 24 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents Dale and Helen Ingle of Asheville; 2 brothers, Roeby and Jimmy Ingle of Asheville; a son, Gary Ingle of Asheville; and 2 grandchildren, Corene and Nathaniel of Asheville. Mr. Ingle is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sandra Austin Ingle, of the home; a son, Roy Ingle of Asheville, and his wife, Debbie, and their daughter Nicole; a daughter, Janice Ingle Anderson of Fletcher, and her husband Ronnie, their daughter Brooke, her husband Nathan, of Candler, their son Jared, his wife Halie from Fort Riley, Kansas; 2 great-grandchildren Sydney and Addison, and 1 great-granddaughter on the way, Madelyn Grace; a brother, Bill Ingle of Leicester, and his wife, Elaine; and sisters Joy Allen of Candler and Kathy Ingle of Asheville. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, in the Patton Ave. chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with the Rev. Josh Ingle and the Rev. Steve Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Candler. His family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
