ASHEVILLE – Bobby Gaywood McMahan, 71, of Bradley St., died Tuesday, November 9, 2010.
Born in Leicester, Mr. McMahan is a son of the late Marion and Savannah Marler McMahan. He is also predeceased by a brother, Earl McMahan.
He is survived by daughters Charlene Sprouse (Chris Thompson), Tonya McMahan; a son, Robert C. Ball; grandchildren Mitchell and Martin Sprouse, Desiray Ball; great-granddaughter Kira; a sister, Shirley Phillips; and brothers Ed McMahan, Ken McMahan, and Lewis McMahan.
A graveside service for Mr. McMahan will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Jones Valley Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Kellian Griffin officiating.
Memorials may be made to the family to help with expenses, c/o Charlene Sprouse, 115 Bradley St., Asheville, NC 28806.
