Bobby Jack Woody

Mr. Woody was born in Buncombe County and was a son of the late Robert Woody. He was a retired chef at the Juvenile Evaluation Center and was a member of Jones Valley Baptist Church.
He is survived by one daughter, Sharon Woody and one son, Jackie Woody; his mother, Lila King Woody, a sister, Barbara Wright, and a nephew, J.C. Wright, all of Asheville.
Funeral services will be at 3:30 pm Tuesday at Jones Valley Baptist Church with the Revs. Bill Gillespie and Robert E. Harris officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
His family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Monday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue and at other times will be at the home of J.C. Wright, 73 Grandview Road, Asheville.
In lieu flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 434 Fayetteville Street Mall, Two Hanover Square, Suite 1600, Raleigh, NC 27601.
