Bonnie Mae Plemmons Chandler, 80, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023.

A native of Madison Co., Bonnie was the daughter of the late Paul and Emma Mills Plemmons. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Chandler.

She is survived by her children, Susan Ward (Doug), Emma Chandler, Johnny Michael Chandler (Kristie), and Sandra Wright (Jeff), and many other family members.

Private services were held. Mrs. Chandler rests at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, Hot Springs, NC.

  2. This is my Aunt Bonnie. She was my Daddy’s Sister. She was the last one of my Daddy’s family. So sad. She and Daddy were so much a like when it came to family. They loved their family. They wanted everyone to be together and everyone to get along. This made them happy. They loved us.
    Aunt Bonnie loved me just like l was her daughter. She called and made sure l was okay when Daddv passed away, even tho I knew she was hurting also.
    I am proud to have had such a wonderful Aunt Bonnie.
    I know that when Aunt Bonnie got to Heaven on Monday morning,she had Uncle Johnny and my Daddy ànd Uncle Ed waiting with open arms.
    I am going to miss you Aunt Bonnie, but we will keep you in our hearts an in memories.
    So glad we could be together for your service today.
    Cousin Susie did a beautiful job honoring your request today.
    You would have been proud of everything It was the way you wanted.
    We love you Aunt Bonnie and will never forget that you loved your family.

  3. Momma I miss you so much my heart aches every day for you .I thank God I got to take care of you nite and day for the last 5 years .I will cherish every moment we had together. You always said I was your babygirl and i am.You were my bestfriend my rock and im so lost mom without you.
    I cry every day for one more hug and our talks .Reading from the Bible. I’m at a loss of words from all the pain .I know your in a better place and know more pain .Your with Daddy where you always wanted to be .You where the most amazing and beautiful mom,aunt ,grandmother ,wife and great grandmother on the world. I did exactly what you wanted me to do mom .I honored you and Daddy. So glad I was with you until your last breath here on earth like I promised you I would .Yes it hurt but I new you caught it in heaven where you belong .You were at peace finally
    thank you God for my mother .We had a bond nobody could ever break and the Lord new it .That’s why he let me take care of you the last 5 years of your life .I promised you and Daddy I would and I did .Give the family a big hug from me and tell them I love them especially the Lord !You will live on in my mind and heart always.I will continue making you proud of me I love you mom !

  4. I will forever miss you my dearest an long time friend. We were sisters connected at the heart ❤️ from the very first time we met. Even tho I didn’t get to tell you, (so long or bye bye from this world) I will see you again one and we will always be connected at the heart, you are so very precious to me, my (Bon Bon)
    and I know you are happy at last an pain free. I pray for peace an comfort for your family and for everyone who knew you loved you. They had to love you because you always left that effect on people with your loving and caring personality. You were and still are one of a kind. You are one of my bestest friends. I love you always. Your smile and beauty will always shine in my heart and mind light the candle I just lit for you!
