Bonnie Mae Todd Phillips, 85, of Candler, died Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at StoneCreek Health & Rehab Center.
A native of Buncombe Co., she was a daughter of the late M.L. and Bonnie Alexander Todd. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carroll E. Phillips, and by siblings Katie Kaylor, Robert Todd, Margie Anderson, and Jean Knapp.
Mrs. Phillips worked as a cake decorator for Town House Bakery for many years. She was a member of Pole Creek Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher for the 3 year old class.
Surviving are her daughters, Sandy Pressley and husband Don, and Anita Smith and husband Kenny; 7 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at Pole Creek Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dennis Thurman officiating. Interment will follow at Pisgah View Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
The family expresses their sincere appreciation to the staff of StoneCreek for the loving care they provided to Mrs. Phillips.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to DayStay at Hominy Baptist Church, 135 Candler School Rd., Candler, NC 28715.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family.

So sad for the loss of Bonnie . She was a great person.. praying for comfort and peace for you Sandy and Anita and all your families during this time.
I met her I stone creek I have pt I go to there she always had a beautiful smile An her granddaughter that came to see her looked so much like her I’ll miss that pretty smile but she is smiling in Heaven now
