Dearest William:
Our hearts and thoughts are with you during this difficult time. It was such a pleasure to have Brenda in NC for the past several years. She added much joy to our family (to say nothing of her wonderful cooking and incredible talent). We will always cherish our time with her and remember with a smile the wonderful and fun Thanksgving we shared when she so generously had handmade all of us personal gifts. We will really miss her!!
Much love, Linda, Paul and Michelle

When I was about 10 or 11 I lost my first and best friend(Nikki Seever), and a favorite Uncle(Earl Pendleton) within the month. Mom gave me the book ‘Jonathon Livingston Seagull’ to read. It softened the blow for me and influenced me for the rest of my life…and that is just one of the many uncountable acts/lessons of love that she gave me.
And a special note of GRATITUDE and THANKS to all who made her feel Welcome and Home so far from what she was familiar with in Kitsap County.
Brenda’s son

Bill and Bob,
MFA, my favorite aunt, or Auntie Brenda as I called her was a special person. I always loved her laugh and creativity. We would sit for hours and work on crafts or bake cookies for Christmas. I have wonderful memories of a wonderful woman. Even though we didn’t talk much because when we did we would talk way too long, she was in my thoughts and prayers often. I will miss her greatly. She was fortunate to have you both and I know your grief is great.
Love,
Pat, Jim and Tyler
William, Ceil & Helen,

Will and Bob, So very hard to find words of condolance for the void is so huge for you both. I can selfishly say I was so happy when Brenda moved here to North Carolina. I loved her sense of humor! Her talents were unmeasurable and I will always cherish her art. Wow, what a baker and cook!! She has left her footprint on my heart. Much love, Susan
sorry for your loss!rest in peace mom
Brenda was my mom’s younger sister. We grew up with a great extended family and Brenda was always there in the midst (more like an older sister to me). She was always funny, caring, giving and so creative and gifted. She lit up the room when she came in. We all have great memories of laughing, playing cards, talking about everything and enjoying great holidays together. We love and will miss our aunt and friend. And, we thank God for the years Bill and Brenda had together. Bill, your a good, loving, faithful man and much admired!
When Brenda and I met on my first trip to meet my boyfriend’s family, she was grooming a cocker spaniel in her little shop next to the dry cleaners. She made a comment about the bangs hanging in my eyes and how she could make me her next customer. From that moment I relaxed. Even so, she often challenged me with her intelligence. And her skill with a paint brush was pretty wonderful. I wish we’d been able to see her after she and Bill moved. Still, I knew if we had the chance, it would be as if no time had passed. I assume such will be the case in heaven. Bill, you were such a great addition to the fam and we all know how happy you made Brenda. Thanks for that!
