Mrs. Jones was born in Buncombe County and was a son of the late Ben Grant. She was a graduate of Enka High School and was employed as a baker at J&S Cafeteria, Enka.
She is survived by one daughter, Stephanie Jones of Candler; her mother, Arnetta H. Grant of Asheville; three sisters, Tina Sherlin, Becky Ducker, and Connie Grant of Asheville; and three brothers, Tommy Grant of Asheville and Mike and Tim Grant of Candler.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 am Monday at New Morgan Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Robert E. Harris officiating.
Her family will receive friends from 7 - 9 pm Sunday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
