Bruce Randall Fox, 67, of Asheville passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2006 at Memorial Campus Mission Hospital.
A native of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late Arthur Pritchard and Nina Hensley Fox.
He was retired from Consolidated Freight.
Surviving are his loving wife, Shirley Chastain Fox; two sons, Randy and Larry Fox of Asheville; two daughters, Sandra Sexton and Cindy Chapman of Asheville; a sister, Jean Candle of Asheville; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Wednesday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum with the Rev. Charles Coxie officiating. His family will receive friends from 7- 8:30pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association Memorial Center, P.O. Box 5216, Glenn Allen, VA 23058.

I was so sorry to hear that Bruce had passed away. He had a wonderful soul and will be greatly missed. It just won’t be the same not seing him pull up to the gym in that yellow truck. May God comfort you, Scottie and the girls during this time. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless You.

I am sorry I missed the notice that Bruce had passed. He was a great neighbor and friend to my family. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family during this time. He will truly be missed by many.
