Buster T. Satterfield

Mr. Satterfield was born in
Knoxville, TN, and was a son of the late Arthur L. and Ruth Bridges Satterfield.  He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict and was
retired after 40 years with Eucusta.  He was a member, a choir member, and a deacon at Hominy Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Smith Satterfield;  two daughters, Diane Satterfield of Candler and the Rev. Donna S. Shook and her husband Steve of Marion;  three
sisters, Retha Hill of Asheville, Lois Metcalf and her husband Maurice of Maryville, TN, and Glenna Ducker Moye and her husband Duggan of
Asheville;  and a brother, Lee Satterfield and his wife Christine of Asheville.

Funeral  services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday at Hominy
Baptist Church with the Rev. Drs. Joe Yelton and C. Fred Werhan officiating. Burial will be at Pisgah View Memorial Park.

His family will receive friends from 7 - 9 pm Tuesday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue where Mr.  Satterfield will remain until being placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
