Carol B. Case

Carol B. Case, 79, of 1172-B Case Road, Asheville,
passed away Friday, April 20, 2001, at Pisgah Manor Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving family.

He was a son of the late Arthur and Millie Austin Case and was also preceded in death by his wife Mary Katie Collins Case and by a brother Bobby Case.

He was a native of
Buncombe County and lived most of his adult life in Dearborn, MI, where he worked out of Local 671
as a welder and pipefitter.

He is survived by four sisters, Bonita Michales of Enka, Dorothy Buckner of Fletcher, and Shirley Wright and Becky Taylor of Asheville; three brothers, Alvin
(Buster) Case of Arden, and Terrell and Carl Case of Asheville; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Monday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with Chaplain Jane Curran officiating. Burial will be at Bent Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and request that memorials be made to Mountain Area Hospice, PO Box 25338, Asheville, NC 28813.

His family expresses appreciation to the staffs of Pisgah
Manor Nursing Center, Candler, and the Brian Center in Weaverville.
