Carol Lee Wrenn, 79, of 305 Brown’s View Church Rd., Candler, died Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at the John F. Keever Hospice Solace Center. A native of Buncombe Co., she was a daughter of the late Grover D. and Revilee Brock Warren. Ms. Wrenn was a member of Brown’s View United Methodist Church. Ms. Wrenn is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Phillips and husband Jeff, of Old Fort, and Rose Shirkey and husband Tom, of Fort Myers, FL; son, George W. Wrenn and wife Cindy, of Hendersonville; sister, Lucinda Gasperson and husband Rev. Don Gasperson, of Candler; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Brown’s View United Methodist Church with the Rev. George Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the church’s cemetery. Ms. Wrenn will lie in state in the church for 30 minutes prior to the service, and her family will receive friends at 305 Brown’s View Church Rd. following the service.

  4. Cynthia I was so sorry to hear about your mother’s death. Your mother was a wonderful lady. I remember, way back, when I would walk to church she was usually outside working and I would stop and say hi. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Rose, George and all your family.

    You had one of the best mom’s. I remember spending so many nights at your house laughing, playing on the piano, singing and taking drives on the Parkway with Carol Lee. She is a wonderful woman and you guys were so blessed. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
