Carole Jean Mills

Carole Jean Mills, 61, of 420 Killian Street, Apt. 9-D, Waynesville, died Thursday, November 8, 2001, at her home. Mrs. Mills was born at Fort Bragg, NC, and was a daughter of Lucille Foster Mills of Asheville and the late Calvin Mills. She was formerly employed as a certified nursing assistant at Haywood Rest Home. In addition to her mother, she is survived by three daughters, Sherry Harwood of Arden, Linda Newton of Mooresville, and Terry Atkins of Arden; one son, Michael English of Murphy; one sister, Mary Basso of Iron Mountain, MI; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Monday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home and her family will receive friends immediately following the service.
