Carole Sue Collins Watts, 78, of Asheville, passed away Monday, June 14, 2021.

A native of Asheville, Carole was a daughter of the late Charlie Oscar Collins and Irene Travis Collins. She was also preceded in death by a son, Danny Watts.

Mrs. Watts was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and worked in real estate.

Surviving are her son, Mark Watts, and her grandson, Tyler Arden Watts.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home. Rev. Rendell Hipps will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

  1. Carol was a special lady…. I had a special place in my heart for her. She had such a quit wit! She was also was very wise and gave sound advice and encouraged me many times. So sorry for your loss Mark.

  5. All of us 1st cousins love her and will miss her sharp, to the point humor, greatly.
    She was always an inspiration to most of us through both good and bad times. Peace and
