  3. Carolyn’s Family, We were distressed to hear today about Carolyn. Carolyn was a member of the 408 in the Lee Edwards Class of 1943 and brings our known deceased to 204 which is 50 % of our class. She always enjoyed our Class Functions. Regardless of age, health, or any other circumstance we are never ready to give up our loved ones. The only comfort has to come from our Faith in the Sovereignty of God and the manifersted concern of caring friends. We are thinking of you and will hold you in our prayers.

  6. I worked with ‘Cippy’ for several years in the VA Hospital. She was a wonderful nurse and cared for her patients. May she rest in peace. May our Lord Jesus Christ comfort the Cipriano family.

  7. Guy and I were in school together and I was certainly sorry to learn of your loss. I never had the pleasure of meeting your mother, but remembering what a good young man you were, I know she must have been a fine person.

  8. To all the Cipriono family,

I was so sorry to find Carolyn’s name as I read the GREENVILLE NEWS this morning. She and I became ‘phone buddies’ back in the early 90’s when I worked as a victim advocate with MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving). Carolyn was such a special person and we spent as much time laughing as we did in discussing the day’s issues of drinking and driving and the effects and life in general.

I had health issues which caused me to end my own volunteer work a number of years ago. I lost contact with Carolyn as well. Later I moved away and had thought of her even recently. My heart and thoughts are with you all. I truly will be with you in spirit and mind as you celebrate her life. She surely has been a woman full of caring for family and others as her life reflected in the way she lived as well as in the write-up.

  9. Carolyn was a very special friend and always a caring, giving woman. I had the privilege of meeting her and getting to know her while we both volunteered with MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving). My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

  10. Vince,

Our sympathy and best regards to you and your family in the loss of your mother. It sounds like she led a productive life–for ALL of her life.

  11. GUY, MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY NOW. SHE WAS A SPECIAL LADY AND A SPECIAL FRIEND WITH A HEART FULL OF LOVE. I ENJOYED GETTING TO KNOW HER AT ROCKY BOTTOM. MAY HER MEMORY LIVE ON IN OUR HEARTS AND MINE OF THOSE WHO LOVED AND KNEW HER. MAY GOD’S GRACE COMFORT YOU WITH PEACE AND UNDERSTANDING IN THE DAYS TO COME.

  12. I loved Mrs C! She was a wonderful lady in every sense of the word. She has written me for the last 15 years that I have lived in Tennessee and I will cherish all of the fond memories I have of her. Although I will miss her eloquent letters, she is not a lady who would have you spending extended periods of time grieving. She will be missed as greatly as she gave in this life.
