Carolyn Dean Cole, 70, of Leicester, died Wednesday, May 22, 2013.
A native of Buncombe Co., she was a daughter of the late Wayne and Frances Black Carr. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Gary Carr.
Mrs. Cole worked for 27 years at Square D, and more recently at the CVS on Leicester Hwy. She attended and volunteered at Heart Path Cardiac Rehab Center, and was also a member of Dix Creek Chapel United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Cole is survived by her husband, Morris H. Cole; brother Larry Carr and wife Lila; and by a number of nieces and nephews.
Her family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave.

Heaven’s gates received the most loving and generous angel that ever walked this earth, and she isnt suffering anymore. I thank God for the best cousin and friend that I could have asked for. We’ll miss you and never forget you.
Carolyn was a wonderful, energetic person that will be missed dearly. She had a laugh that made everyone want to laugh with her and a smile that made everyone else smile.

I am very sorry to read of the passing of Carolyn. I worked with her at Square D and saw her at CVS. She was always very cheerful. May God comfort you in this time of sorrow and loss.

Morris, our love, thoughts and prayers are with you. Carolyn was a wonderful, caring person & friend. I have many happy memories working and traveling with her down through the years. She always had a positive attitude. I will miss her but knowing she is with her Lord & Savior gives comfort like nothing else can. Morris sorry for your loss sister was a great an loving friend she always had that warm loving smile that would just make you love her even more you could never have picked a better lady to be in your life sister always had a loving care for everybody God has another beautiful angel in his choir.She has only gone on vaction till we can join her in her new home God be with the family.

We initially met Carolyn through Alvin’s sister, Delilah, but we stayed in contact with her through CVS. We had been missing her smiling face. She was a beautiful person who will be greatly missed but Heaven now has a beautiful angel. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
Carolyn was a bubble of energy and full of laughter. We always enjoyed seeing her at CVS. She would tell me if we needed any help with my great Aunt and Uncle, just let her know. May God wrap the family in his loving arms as the Angels in Heaven welcome Carolyn home.
