  7. So Sorry to hear of the loss of Carolyn. She was such an inspiration to many people. My previous husband, Bruce Reece, worked with Jim when Jim was Terminal Manager at Mason Dixon Truck Lines several years ago and always spoke so highly of Carolyn and The Boring Family. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this difficult time. I pray for comfort, peace and strength in the days ahead. Having lost Bruce in 1988 so unexpectedly, was very hard , but I can truly say from experience, God will carry you thru this and HE will give you the strength to survive—just lean on HIM, ONE DAY AT A TIME.

  8. Mrs. Boring was my high school teacher at TC Roberson and she was a great teacher and challenged me every day. I pray God will bless the entire family.

  10. Mrs. Boring was one of the best teachers I had at TC, and she was a wonderful lady that always made me feel welcome whenever I visited. Susan, Cathy and Lisa, you are in my prayers. Please know that your mom made an impact on a lot of people and you will see her again someday.

  11. Jim, Susan, Cathy and Melissa,
Your Mother and I were colleagues and the dearest of friends for the many years we both worked for the Buncombe County Schools. I am so sorry I cannot be there tonight but my husband Tom is ill. We now live in Morganton on Lake James and Carolyn and Jim have visited us here. She was one classy lady and we had so much fun. I loved her dearly and you have my deepest sympathy.

  12. Carolyn and I became friends while attending graduate school together at Western Carolina University. We later shared a special working relationship helping our students succeed at Asheville High and TC Roberson. We enjoyed working together as Counselors. She was a dedicated professional and a wonderful friend. Carolyn will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
