Carolyn Yvonne Goff

CAROLYN YVONNE GOFF LEICESTER – Carolyn Yvonne Goff, 75, of passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2011 at Pisgah Manor Health Care Center. Mrs. Goff was born in Ashe Co., and was the daughter of the late Robert and Allie Baker. Mrs. Goff was also preceded in death by her husband, Obra E. Goff, Jr.; and her twin sister, Jacqueline. Mrs. Goff is survived by her son, Russell and wife Lorraine; granddaughter Brandy; brother, Randall Baker and wife Shirley; niece Cathy Baker of Rising Sun, MD; brother-in-law, Frank Goff and wife Fran, of Rio Rancho, NM; and her dear friends, Ed and Pam Miller, of Leicester. Mrs. Goff was a homemaker and traveled extensively with her husband. She attended Paynes Chapel Church. Mrs. Goff was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. A memorial service will be conducted by Erin Miller at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the Western North Carolina State Veterans Cemetery Chapel.
