I was sadened to see the passing of Carrol as I knew and played baseball with him in Little League on the VFW club.
Not seeing him but remembering him for so many years as a great baseball player, a funny guy and was our leader on the team. Over the years I never lost memories of his great ability and always said I was glad I didn’t have to hit against him.

Dear Elingburg Family,
Sincere sympathy to all of you in the passing of your dear family member. What a wonderful fun loving guy he was. Our lives have been made richer by knowing him. His battle with cancer was not all in vain as Carroll has now been received into the Hands of the Almighty Healer enjoying the company of his father Raymond, his role model in life. What a blessing to know where I loved ones have gone. In the days and months ahead, I will continue to pray that you and your family will receive comfort and strength from your family, friends, and God during this most difficult time.
Love to all of you,
Debbie
