CATHERINE E. BRANK Catherine Elizabeth Brank, 60, of 2145 Cane Creek Road, Fletcher, died Tuesday, March 15, 2005, at the Brian Center in Brevard. Mrs. Brank was born in Lake Wales, FL and was a former resident of Cashiers. She was a daughter of the late Willis and Lillian Bradley Hyatt and she was a former member of Abernethy United Methodist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Tracy McLaughlin and her husband Timothy of Fletcher and Patricia Yelton and her husband Rob of Candler; one son, Richard Hyatt Spencer of Knoxville, TN (currently serving with the US Military Reserves in Iraq); seven grandchildren, Richard, Shannon, Virginia, Allison, Amy, Tyler and Kameron; two sisters, Connie Mitchell of Asheville and Nancy Griffin of Weaverville; a brother, Bud Hyatt of Landrum, SC; and by her husband Frank Brank of Asheville. A memorial service will be at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at Reynolds Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Smith officiating. Memorials may be made to Reynolds Baptist Church, 520 Rose Hill Road, Asheville, NC 28803. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is in charge of the arrangements.
