Arden ~ Catherine Sullivan Flavin, 47, of 22 Brook Forest Drive, Arden, died on Saturday, March 4, 2006 at her residence.
She was a native of Paterson, NJ and was the daughter of the late Joseph Sullivan and Vera Wells Lang of Asheville. She more recently had moved to the Asheville area from California to be with her mother.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Courtney Flavin of Corpus Christi, TX; son, Patrick Flavin of Pensacola, FL; brother, Michael J. Sullivan, Sr and wife Grace of Sussex, NJ; step-sister, Anita Lang Walch of Guttenburg, NJ and step-brother, Charles Richard Lang of Milford, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Area Hospice, P.O. Box 25338 Asheville, NC 28813.
Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road is in charge of arrangements.
