Charles B. Barnwell

Charles B. Barnwell Tryon- Charles B. Barnwell, 72, of Tryon, died Saturday, November 6, 2010 at his residence. A native of Buncombe County, he was a son of tha late Robert G. and Annie Sayles Barnwell. He is survived by four daughters, Janice Hedgepeth of Concord, NC, Cherie Levinsohn of Tryon, Barbara Barnwell of Murrells Inlet, SC and Penny Yost of Harrisburg, NC; three sisters, Beatrice Morgan of Fletcher, Margaret Ford of Waynesville and Ruby Barnwell of Canton; two brothers, Lamar and James Barnwell, both fo Fletcher; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren as well as several niece and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Emma's Grove Baptist Church with Reverend H.L. Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will recieve friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is assisting the family.
