  3. Dear Amy and family members,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Charlie. He was such a delightful man. I only knew him for a short while last summer. My dad, Bill Crompton, was his roommate @ Fleschers Rest Home. He watched out after my dad, because he couldn’t hear or see very well. Charlie would always tell dad what was happening on TV. They watched baseball together. Charlie would say Bill I’m going down to see Amy I’ll see you later. Last July, when my dad went to the hospital, we never saw Charlie again. I will cherish those good memories!
