May God give to you the same comfort, peace and the strength to endure in the loss of your beloved Chas that He gave to you when you buried your precious Tonda. Beth, Your journey in life is one that I cannot comprehend. When we parted from A.C. Reynolds in 1965, none of knew what the future held. It breaks my heart that our sweet Beth has known such grief. Beth, I know our ‘winter years’ are here and I look forward to a place where we will never know the grief you have endured All will be well. . I love you.

  4. Dear friend, Beth – How blessed we have been with the friendship that you and Chas offered over 20 years ago! We will miss him so much but rejoice that he is face to face with our Lord and no longer in pain. I personally will miss the hugs that worked just as well as a trip to the chiropractor!! Chas knew how to live life, and showed us how to have fun. God bless you with great peace now as you walk a new path. We are here for you sweet friend. Hugs from Jack and Joyce

  5. Dear Beth, April, Dawn, Sarah and family,
We send all our sympathy, love and prayers to you at this difficult time. We know Chas has no more pain and is completely healed now in heaven with Jesus. If they bike in heaven, I know he is in first place. He is also hearing his precious Savior and best friend, Jesus, say ‘Well done good and faithful servant.’
We all love Chas and will one day be reunited again. Our love,
    Ree and Joe

  8. Chas,
We had some awesome flights together in the Air Guard. That one flight through the Grand Canyon was a career high ! One of the best pilots I ever knew.
I hope the view from where you are is as good as that from an A-7 at 30,000 feet !
    Love ya

  10. Beth (CA Mom), April and Dawn, I wish I had the words. I do have great memories. I will be forever grateful for being connected to your family. I will surely miss the conversations that started with ‘Hiya Pops’! and to hear him say ‘Jockstrap’!!!!, then the relentless teasing and bantering would begin. He was a worthy opponent. Hugs, Love and Prayers.

Love to all, Melinda aka ‘JS’

  16. Dear Beth, I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Chal’s passing. I met you at our reunion and was so glad to see and catch up with Chal again after 50 years. He was still the good guy I remembered and will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart. May you find comfort in your memories.

  17. Beth, my heart aches for you and the loss of your dear hubby, love of your life. Please know our prayers are with you and all your family, and sending love from California. May God comfort and Hold you close, draw strengt from our Lord. Love you

  18. My saddest condolences to you on the loss of Chas. In high school we knew him as Chal! Regardless of the nickname he was a great guy then & obviously became a great man. The outpouring for him on the Bensalem web site is just a small indication of how highly regarded he was even then!

  19. Beth, we are so very sorry to hear of the passing of Chase. We have fond memories of the short time that he visited with us. Praying for peace and comfort that only our Father can give to you and your family.

  20. We will sorely miss Chas’s infectious smiles and hugs, but will forever hold in our hearts fond memories of all the fun times we had with couples group trips, and especially the jokes and conversations while riding bikes with Chas on his DeRosa and Harvey and I on our tandem. Much love to you and your family, Beth

  21. Dear Beth, John and I are thinking about you and praying for you. May our Heavenly Father overshadow all proceedings with His Love and Peace. May His Comfort be your strength.

  22. Dearest Beth: I was so saddened to hear of Chas’ death. He will forever be my choir buddy and friend…..and the only one I know who shared my birthdate of Oct. 28th. I can not think of Chas without seeing that big smile! My prayers and love are with you and the girls and family.

  23. Dear Beth, When I returned home from being away for two weeks and saw your Facebook post about Chas, my heart broke. I will always remember our days as newly-weds together in Albuquerque. You two were some of my absolute most favorite next-door-neighbors ever and I treasure those times. The world is a smaller place without his presence and smile. Thinking of you and sending wishes of comfort and peace. Love you lots, Maggie

  24. Beth, Gerry Huntley emailed to tell me about Chas, and I was so sorry to hear of your loss. Please know that you are in my prayers. As high school classmates, your beautiful smile and beaming eyes warmed my heart and comforted my teen-age soul. I am sure that Chas felt the same way about you. May you always walk in the beauty of life’s blessings. Barbara

  25. Beth….pray you feel the Lord’s presence comfort you….as you begin a new season in your life….God Bless your life and service to Him….

  26. I know I will meet Chas again as he flies me correctly and safely in the cockpit of God’s airline to heaven…god rest my Reno Air Captain Chas Mudie from all of the Reno Air Flight Attendant Family!

  27. It is with deep sadness that I have learned of the passing of Chas. It only seems like yesterday that we played football and lacrosse together at Rutgers University. In my room at home hangs a composite of the pictures of the 1966 Rutgers football seniors and coaches with their autographs. When I see Chas’ picture I will remember the wonderful years we shared playing the sports we loved so much, and how Chas ‘picked up’ the sport of lacrosse in college and ended up playing in the North-South game. May God bless Chas’ family.

  28. I was sadden to learn of Chas’ passing. He was a great mentor to me when we flew together at Reno Air and I will miss him. I pray for you Beth and the family, that the Lord will comfort and guide you in the days ahead. The Lord has gone before us to prepare a place for us and I know Chas is there now, in paradise, waiting for you and all of his friends in Christ. May God bless you and keep you firmly in his grasp.
