Guestbook

  1. With our love and prayers. Mr. Mills was a wonderful man who taught me much about Jesus. We will miss him greatly.

  2. Nelle, MarLisa, and Eddie,
You have our heartfelt sympathy. Regardless of age, health, or any other circumstance in life we are never ready to give up our loved ones. The only comfort comes from a strong Faith in the Sovereignty of God and the manifested concern of caring friends. May the Lord Our God Hold You Closely In His Arms.

  3. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We will miss Mr. Mills. He was such a dear person and always took the time to talk with me and see how things were going.

  4. Dear friends,
I’m so sorry I can’t be with you but you must know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I considered Charles one of my closest friends and will certainly miss him. Love to all – Martha

  5. Dear Nell and Marlisa,
We were shocked to hear of the passing of Charles. Please know our prayers and thoughts are with you during these days. Charles was a good man. Today he is with the Lord.

  6. Nelle and Marlisa, our love and sympathies are with you at this most difficult time.

Charles was such a caring, good, Christian man and will be sorely missed in the whole community. We especially have so many fond memories of him and of you two. You have all meant a great deal to us during our lives.

    Love, Don and Gladys Jones

  7. To all the family:
You are in my thoughts and prayers. The beauty of Charles’s Christian life has left a beautiful legacy among the many people who loved him.
May God bless and comfort you.
    Cousin Frances

  8. Daddy –
There isn’t enough space in ANY book for me to re-count my ‘fondest’ memories with you. Every day brought a memory – Every experience, a lesson. I miss you more than I
    ever thought possible – but
your strength and example will keep us going. We will
take care of one another – we will make sure Addison and Hailey are loved with EXTRA
care, for you – and we will live so that we will join you
    when God calls us home.
Daddy – Addison said, ‘I know why God took Grandday at Christmas. He wanted the VERY
BEST people to be at Jesus’ birthday party.’ And you are the best. I wish you could see the hundreds of cards and letters we’ve received – and the on-line messages from all over the country. Daddy – you
lived the life you dreamed –
and I will never let a day go by without thanking God for the blessing of being born to you. Your ‘Little Rabbit’

    • Dear Mrs Mills,

Your father left a lasting impression on our family during his service in WWII when he met my Grand Parents in the south of the Netherlands as his 7th armored division was passing through.
I have been long wanting to reach out and re-establish the communication between our families, as my dad, Jos, lost track of Mr Mills after their correspondence stopped. We feared what happened as we now foudn out by his Obituary.
Please feel free to contact me via the email below, I would love to keep in touch, my Dad is still around, and remembers your Father’s visit when he was a little boy. I am sure he would love to get in touch too. Sincerely, Adrian van Velsen

  9. To our great-grand-daddy –
We miss you every day and still cry for you at night –
but we want you to know how much we love you. We will never forget the things you
taught us – and as we grow, we will always try to make you proud. God needed you, too
and Angel says we will see you again someday – and we will all be together. Until then, we will live our lives
the way we think would make you smile.
    Love, Addison and Hailey
    Your great-
    grandchildren

  10. Granddaddy,

I was sitting here this evening, thinking of you, as I have every day for the last 19 years. I love you so much, and have tried so hard to live up to everything you needed me to be, to take good care of Nana, as you did… I’m so grateful my children, who as you know are grown now, knew and loved you too, so much. I went to see you and sit with you the other day, and I pray you know I was there. We will be together one day, in a beautiful place we will share together! Until, I thank you for all the blessings you brought to my life, the graciousness you always gifted, and the unconditional love you we will forever share! I’ll see you when it’s time, and until, my heart is with you! 💕💐🌷♥️
