He is loved and will be greatly missed. I could not of had a better Grandfather, and he will stay in my heart forever.
I will always find memories in my daily chores. Every time I need a word to spell you were always these. There was a time when you needed to know were something was and after I gave you detailed instruction you would ask,’how many centemeters’? We had many memories that I will cherish between us. Until we meet again in your new world my love, I will send my prayers to you. Dolores
The sun came up, the mountains were shining, the birds sang their songs, and the Lord welcomed you home. Each moment together will be cherished.
Uncle Charlie is remembered as a wonderful, caring, and loving family member and will be missed. His positive outlook, along with his candor and charm, are forever in our memories! We love you and will be with you again in Paradise. Kathy, Ken, and Kaley Hembree
My best memories were when I visited you and Dolores in Texas and you gave us the tour of a life time of the state of Texas. You had True southern hospitality that will never be forgotten. God bless.
With deepest sympathy,
Welcome to Paradise Uncle Charlie! I love you and look forward to being with you again in God’s kingdom. Rest in Peace!
You have our sympathy, Beverly and Stuart. Lovingly, Rick & Nancy
Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of those that loved you uncle Chuck. May they find comfort in their memories. Rest in Peace
Goodbye Chuck! We had some good times teaching together. Remember the See’s candy episode!! And also the time I bit into your sandwich!!
Rest in peace.
Lois
Our deepest sympathy to all of Chuck’s family and loved ones. May you find comfort knowing he rests in God’s heavenly peace.
I have known Chuck and Dolores for more than 20 years and I feel honored to be a part of their lives. Chuck and I would visit and laugh out loud about some of the predicaments Dolores would find herself in. He never had a cross word and never expressed any anger about anything that happened. I have never known any two people who loved each other so dearly. I am sad to see him go but I know his suffering has ended. With sympathy to his family and all of us he has left behind.
Take care….Cathy
Dolores and I have become good friends the past few years. Even though I have never met Chuck I feel like I know him through all the conversations we have about their life together. I think there will always be a sadness about Dolores knowing he has passed. Through laughter and tears he will be truly missed.
Chuck was always a gracious host and delighted in driving guests around town and showing them the sights. He loved to travel and to share his experiences. God has brought him home.
I remember Chuck very fondly. He & Dolores welcomed me into their Houston home & were such generous hosts. I had many a good giggle with Chuck & Dolores, especially when my family visited from Austria. What an awesome tour guide! ‘Til we meet again…RIP
Uncle Charlie,
What a great med school spring break visit Elizabeth and Linda had with you and Dolores in Katy in 2005! You were a great host! Cary remembers fondly your travel together to his Dad’s (Claude’s) funeral and sharing your love of music. With love, Linda and Cary
