Prayers for the family—-rest in peace Charlie, the beach will never be the same without you..
Charlie I so miss your precious smile and small talks at Apache campground at Myrtle Beach. It isn’t the same without you.💔
Thank you for your service young man. God bless you “TOP” and God’s speed
Charlie was a good friend of my dad Bruce Fields for years. Daddy always said he was a better golfer than he was a barber…even though he let him cut his hair for years! Our family will miss him. Praying for peace for the family. We know Laura welcomed him home with open arms singing Somewhere over the Rainbow.
Ah
It was such a joy knowing you , chasing around looking for good hotdogs and lemon meringue pie. Will miss your great smile and watching westerns. You leave a void here at the beach. Rest in Peace my dear friend. God Bless you for your service. Your great voice will truly be missed.

Great friend. Great golf partner, will always remember the great memories.
I and my family are blessed to know Charlie
Prayers for the family.
Charles, please know you and your family are our thoughts! We send our sincerest condolences!
Will miss you. Tell my daddy and mama hello.
I am saddened to learn of Charlie’s homegoing. I’ve known Charlie my whole life. He and daddy(Ray Hunter) not only worked together, but we’re lifelong friends. I loved Charlie’s sense of humor, his jokes and how much he loved life and most importantly his family. My thoughts and prayers are with Charles and Marcus and the family.
I was somewhat saddened to learn of your Dad’s passing. I enjoyed his short time on Haywood Rd at the old cleaners location where I suppose he last cut hair. Each and everytime we met he had something funny to say and was ALWAYS picking at me about something from years past. He was a great guy. I know you will miss him, though I am very sure he wouldn’t come back here now for the world. Strive to join him and your mom in their finaly resting place. If I can help you in any way please let me know!
Wishing you and your family peace and grace in a time of loss. It’s never easy when a parent depart us. Remember the times you shared and know that you did everything possible to make his last days as comfortable as possible. I wish you peace.
I knew Charlie from the golf business. He was a good friend and fun to be around. Condolences to all his family. RIP Charlie.
