Charles Frederick Graves, Jr., 43, of 88 Nevada Avenue, Asheville, died Thursday, September 27, 2001, at the Hospice Solace Center.

Mr. Graves was born in Baltimore, MD, and was a son of the late Charles Frederick Graves, Sr. He was employed by Asheville Steel Co. and was a member of Bent Creek Baptist Church.

He is survived by his mother, Elsie May Dawson Greene of Asheville and a sister, Helen Conner of Baltimore.

His family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Saturday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue and request that memorials be made to Mountain Area Hospice, PO Box 25338, Asheville, NC 28813.
