We are so sorry to hear of Charlie’s death. He was a great friend when we attended Biltmore School together. We had a lot of fun as teenagers riding around Bucks, Winks, and Babes. We went Drag Racing on Leicester Hwy on Saturday Nights. He bought an old car in Asheville and we had to roll it off a steep hill to get it started, and then we almost wrecked it when we found out it didn’t have any breaks. Then he joined the Army and I the Marines. We lost touch until 2004 and picked our friendship right back up! We met for breakfast a few times and enjoyed remembering all the trouble we got into. My wife knew him as a RN and earlier with the Fire Dept. He fought hard to breath and loved his family and life! He will be greatly missed.
Uncle Charlie,
You will be missed dearly, not only by me, but all those who knew and loved you. You and Aunt Linda always had a smile and a hug for Dick and I. My fondest memories of you are when you and Aunt Linda always came over to Mom and Dads, you would have gum or candy for Ray, David and I; Me being the oldest always got to pick first, and that always made me feel special. Little did I know then that all your neices and nephews were special to you, and I still know that till this day. You Loved each and every one of us.
Your Love and smile will always be in My Heart.
Love you always. One of your many special necies.

during this time of sorrow.
Tony and Linda, just wanted you both to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. So sorry for your loss.
Words can not express the sadness I felt in my heart when I heard about the passing of Charles. I met him for only a brief time, but saw very quickly that he was a good, kind person with a great sense of humor. I felt like I knew him so much better because of all the kind words his sister, and my great friend, Carolyn, had to say about him. She loved him so dearly. My thoughts and prayers will be with you all today and in the future. May God keep you all in his Tender Love and Care.
There are so many wonderful memories I have of my sweet brother, Charlie. I can remember when he was still at home and he and I would watch Shock Theatre together. I would be so scared to stay in the living room by myself that when he went to the kitchen or anywhere else, I would follow him. He would always kid me and call me a scaredy cat. I loved my brother so much that it is hard to imagine him not being here with us. I know where he is and one day I will see hime again. I remember when he and Linda were dating and he would ask me to iron him a shirt. He really loved you, Linda, and Tony you were the apple of his eye. I would not wish him back in the shape he was in, but one day I will see him in Heaven with our Heavenly Father. Love your sister, Mary
Linda and Tony,
I justed wanted you to know I love you both dearly. I hope the hurt ends soon. Remember I’m here for both of you. I loved Charlie just like he was my own father. He will be missed. I hope once again I will get to see the sparkle in your eyes and not the sorrow. He loved both of you dearly. As he did the rest of his family also. I’ve been very lucky to have been a part of this family.
I love ya’ll.
Love
Martina
Charlie was our brother. Even though we love him; he will be missed but is suffering no more. We will never forget his jokes, his smile, laughter, friendship and love that he had for each of us. I give my heartfelt sympathy to Linda, Tony and Family. May our memories be a source of comfort to all of us.
Love, Juanita
Linda and Tony,
As much as we will miss Charlie; we do have to think of how he suffered. He endured more pain than I could have stood. I am going to miss him and I loved him.
He was a great brother, father, and husband.
Linda, I admire you for staying by his side. I know some days it was very hard for you. He wanted you by his side and you were his comfort.
I love you and hope that each day you and Tony will think of a happy memory of Charles that will make you smile. This will help ease some of the pain.
May God Bless you in the days and months ahead.
Love, Carolyn
