Charles J. Penland, 77, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at the Elizabeth House.

A native of Clyde, Charles was a son of the late Julian and Louise Franklin Penland. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Dawn B. Penland.

Mr. Penland proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by his daughters, Julie Keith (Robert) and Yvonne Ferguson (Russell); grandchildren, Alex Allen, Haley Moreno (Carlos), and Kaden Ferguson; and brother, David Penland.

A private memorial service will be held.
