Fletcher ~ Charles Milton Wiggins, 51, of Fletcher, died Thursday, January 18, 2001 in an Asheville hospital.

Mr. Wiggins was a native of Dillon, SC, and a former resident of Fayetteville, NC and Raleigh, NC. He was a son of Norman and Rebecca Bethea Wiggins of Fayetteville, NC, and the husband of Janet S. Wiggins.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sisters, Vickie Wiggins of Fayetteville and Pam Wiggins of Ashboro; one brother, Greg Wiggins of Atlanta, GA; and two nephews, Stephen and Christopher Wiggins. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 20, 2001 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian with the Reverend Augusta Rowe officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service from 2:00 until 3:00 PM.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 31 College Place, Building C, Suite 100, Asheville, NC 28801, or to the American Heart Association, 50 S. French Broad, Asheville, NC 28801.
