Charles William Ziegler III, 88, of Asheville, died Monday September 16, 2013. Charles was born in New Orleans, LA, and was the son of Frances and Charles W. Ziegler II. He was a navigator in the Air Force during WW II and was a broker dealer and real estate developer. He leaves behind his wife Winnie, six children, and eight grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Fr. Pat Cahill at 11:00 a.m. Saturday September 21st, at St. Eugene's Catholic Church. Memorials may be made to St. Eugene's Catholic Church, 72 Culvern Street, Asheville, NC 28804.
