Christine Harrell Williams, 54, of Candler, died Wednesday, May 2, 2001, in an Asheville hospital.

Mrs. Williams was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late George W. Harrell. She was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Williams and his wife Tracey of Stafford, VA, and Brian Williams of Asheville; her mother, Doris Randall Harrell of Asheville; two sisters, Elaine Mason of Arden and Brenda Sanders of Orlando, FL; and five grandchildren, Meaghen VanDyke, Paige, Chelsea, and Brooke Williams and Cori Angel.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Saturday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Furman Wilson officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Her family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
