CHRISTINE H. SOUTHER
Arden ~ Christine Hudgins Souther, 67, of Arden, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2010, at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals.
A native of Henderson County, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Paul and Vola Edwards Hudgins.
She is survived by her cousin, Kay Dechant and her husband, Tom, of Asheville and her best friend, Patty Ward of Arden.
Christine loved animals, especially her dog, "Max".
The family will receive friends from 4:00-5:00 PM Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made in Christine's memory to the Buncombe County Humane Society.

Chris, I will always remember your beautiful yard with all the blooming flowers you tended so carefully. You not only loved your own dog, but all animals. I pray that you have found peace with our Lord.
