We join you in the celebration of your Mother’s life and stand by you in this time of loss.
Clara was such a dear friend to my mother in law, Ruth Canter, while Ruth was a resident at Givens Estates (she passed away in 2014). Clara will always be remembered in our family for that friendship, caring, and love she showed each of us. Your family is in our prayers during this difficult time.
Times like this can contain experience shared by many others. It can also be deeply personal. Whether the narrative of the loss of your mother may include searching or finding, questioning or understanding, grief or celebration, solitude or sharing; whatever you may walk through, just know that you are being thought about, and lifted up into the warm light of God’s great love, a God who ensures us that we never have to walk completely alone.
We were so deeply saddened to hear of Clara”s passing. She was such a wonderful lady. Our love, thoughts, and prayers all go out to her family and many friends. Know this is a very difficult time. We always enjoyed seeing her. Clara loved doing things with her family and friends. I would always see her at the Annual UMW Prayer Breakfasts and the different church events. I would always go up and speak to her and we would visit. She always had that wonderful smile on her face. Our love goes out to all her family and friends. She will be deeply missed. She was such a devoted wife, mother, sister, mother-in-law, grandmother, to all her family and a dear friend to many. She was a true Christian and such a loving and giving individual. We have many fond memories of Clara and the Coopers. God bless you all during this difficult time. May love and peace fill your hearts. She was so proud to know that her one grandson is serving our Lord and assisting in her memorial service.
Deepest sympathy Steve to you and your family..

I will miss Clara, my friend and one of the best volunteers we have ever had at Givens Estates Health Center. I met her and Jim when I first came to work at GEHC almost 17 years ago and they came to volunteer with no fear, and gave kindness to the residents and staff. Eventually Clara recognized our need for a stronger worship experience on Sundays and set to work to bring this into fruition. Over the years she has been one of our greatest champions and I will miss her. My sympathies go to all the family and friends.
