Clarence Lee Taylor, 80, of Leicester, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021.

A native of Buncombe Co., Clarence was a son of the late Clarence Lee Taylor, Sr., and Mary Harrin Taylor. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, an Ordained Minister, and a member of Highland Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Shelton Taylor; son, Lee Taylor (Lorraine); daughters, Cindy Deweese (Rick) and Crissy Taylor Carson (Gerio); 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Nancy Norden and Mary Louise Blanchard; and brother, James “Bo” Taylor.

The graveside service for the family will be presided over by Rev. Ralph Reemes at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 21, at Sulphur Springs Cemetery.
